We’re proud to have Shirley as the first impression of Nelson Landscaping. As the Office Receptionist, Shirley is the beginning of the excellent customer service that we pursue. From answering phones to scheduling appointments to posting payments and much more, Shirley goes above and beyond in order to provide a great experience for each customer.
Growing up, Shirley wanted to be a flight attendant but she didn’t meet the height requirement to be able to reach the overhead compartment. Since then she’s done it all: furniture sales, church receptionist, Mary Kay beauty consultant, police dispatch, building computers for GE and Honeywell. Prior to joining Nelson Landscaping in 2016, Shirley worked at AT&T for 23 years in various roles including customer service and support for escalated customers.
When Shirley isn’t at work, you can find her enjoying life with her husband of 55 years, reading, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
