Scott Kilgo

Scott graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1991 with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After working for several landscaping companies and owning his own landscape design business, he joined Nelson Landscaping in 2018.

Along with countless commercial properties and homes, Scott has designed landscapes for over sixteen residential subdivisions and was chosen by former Edmond Mayor Saundra Naifeh to help design and manage a community beautification project for the Oklahoma National Guard building.

For Scott, no project is ever the same. Ever. He works with the physical aspects of each property along with the goals of the property owner in order to design landscapes that are not only custom and unique but also beautiful and sustainable.

Whether it be improving sightline views, grade, drainage, irrigation, designing a small xeriscape bed, a brand new landscape for a new house, a tear out and remodel of an existing landscape, or an extravagant outdoor living space complete with swimming pool, kitchen, pergola/pavilion, fireplace, firepit, koi pond, and pondless water feature, Scott can do it all.

When he isn’t designing landscapes, he loves to travel, scuba dive, attend OSU games, BBQ, and spend time with his wife and family.
