Some of our favorite projects, much like this one, are blank slates. This client in particular already had a beautiful Colorado-style log cabin house and was looking to upgrade the surrounding landscape. We were thrilled to take on this project!
We loved the rustic-inspired feel of the home and decided to mirror that in our landscape design plan. With a few additions of Juniper and Evergreen plantings and hardscape features, the existing landscape was completely transformed. We designed a multi-level terraced retaining wall to enhance the beautiful view from the backyard. To add more dimension to their front and backyard, we incorporated hardscaping into our overall design by including stone and boulders around the pool and in the flowerbeds.
Toward the end of the project, we added planting details that highlighted the natural look and feel of the property. The before and after of this property are incredible. We appreciated being able to give our client a landscape design that complements the house perfectly.
