Myriad Botanical Gardens Oklahoma City Christmas Light Tour

The Myriad Botanical Gardens Christmas lights display is a must see visit destination for holiday festivities. The Illuminations: Starry, Starry Night event will be held inside the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory for everyone to enjoy! This beautiful Christmas light display highlights the plants within the conservatory. Visitors can look forward to special features such as the spinning sculptures. Be sure to add this destination at the top of your list! 

Christmas in the Park – Yukon Christmas Lights Display

Yukon Christmas in the Park not only boast of some of the best Christmas lights in Oklahoma, but is also one of, if not the biggest Christmas light display in the state. Christmas in the Park features a magical wonderland of over 425 light displays for families to enjoy. Visitors can either drive, walk, or for a small fee, ride the Santa Express Train through the interconnected parks. Admission is free and donations are always welcome at both the Chisholm Trail Park exit and City Park exit. Be sure to look out for the games, crafts, and live music during your visit!

The historic Kingfisher Winter Nights Park features millions of lights and over 50 animated displays. Families are encouraged to come see the famous swinging bridge spanning Uncle John’s Creek. Admissions are free for holiday sightseers, but donations are merrily accepted. Bundle up and check out the Christmas Carnival featuring laser tag, food trucks, and more! This event is located only 40 minutes north of Oklahoma City so be sure to stop by! 

Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll – Edmond, Oklahoma Walk-through Christmas Light Tour

Edmond Electric’s Luminance An Enchanted Stroll walk-thru light display will be held in Edmond’s Mitch Park and open to the public during the months of November and December. Locals and visitors alike can experience the 3D lighted displays and picture-worthy sets.

The location of this event is near a multitude of food options. A simple stroll across the street offers places such as Uptown grocer, All About Cha, Pie Five Pizza, Blenders cafe and Smitty’s Garage Burgers and Beer! Get in the holiday spirit and come see the beautiful glittering lights! 

Chickasha Festival of Lights – Chickasha, OK

The Chickasha Festival of Lights is one of the most top holiday light shows in the nation. With over 3.5 million, yes million, lights in Shannon Springs Park, visitors will find out it’s more than just a drive-thru attraction. If you decide to walk around the four miles of lighted walkways you definitely won’t miss the 172-ft Christmas tree at the center of it all. Another fan favorite is the beautifully lit pedestrian bridge over the park’s lake. Your family will find that there’s something for everyone so come join the thousands of others who celebrate the Festival of Light each year! 

Dolese Light Display – Oklahoma City, OK

Dolese Bros. Co.‘s annual holiday light display is now viewable for drivers traveling along I-40 between MacArthur and the I-44 Junction in Oklahoma City. Each year, Dolese decorates its rotating mixer truck with nearly 70,000 LED lights with presents coming out the truck’s chute and a new Christmas tree in 2021. The lights are on starting at sunset and will be available through Jan. 1, 2022. 

What started as a fun display more than 20 years ago has turned into a holiday staple and offers a safe option for Oklahoma families to enjoy a Christmas tradition without having to leave their own car this year.

Ardmore Festival of Lights – Ardmore, OK

The Ardmore Festival of Lights is a joyful and vibrant Christmas lights display that takes place at the Ardmore Regional Park. Visitors can tune into their favorite Christmas music station and make their way through the endless rows of lights and animated displays.

Enjoy this beautiful wooded walk and be sure to stop by to see Santas workshop. Admission is free so come join everyone else in celebrating the holiday season! 

Territorial Christmas – Guthrie, OK

A Territorial Christmas Celebration in Guthrie, Oklahoma is a blast from the past with Victorian-era re-enactors, historic home tours, and more! Friends and family can enjoy the beloved American holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life. A Live Radio Play,” performed by the Pollard Theatre.

The Guthrie Christmas Parade will also be in the downtown area. You can watch as the decorated floats make their way through the town. The new Territorial Governor will also be announced at the city post office.

Downtown in December – Oklahoma City, OK

Downtown in December is a holiday tradition in OKC that nearly half a million people celebrate each year. With snow globe pop up shops, outdoor ice skating, and free water taxi excursions there truly is something for everyone! Amidst the holiday scenery, visitors can get in the holiday spirit with festive events such as unforgettable yuletide performances and the beautifully lit canal in Bricktown. This event has remained a holiday favorite for visitors all around. 

Bricktown Canal Lights – Oklahoma City, OK

Many couple believe that the best Christmas lights in Oklahoma City can be found right along the Bricktown Canal. As you stroll along the canal, you can take pictures by the lights and enjoy the dining and shopping around the entertainment district.

Rhema Christmas Lights – Broken Arrow, OK

Come join over 200,000 annual visitors at the Rhema Christmas Lights display in Broken Arrow! Since 1982, this lights display has continued to attract visitors from all over. Friends and family are welcome to view the lights by driving in their vehicle, touring the park on foot, or horse-drawn carriage. The main feature in this park is the Rhema Park bridge with over 90,000 lights. There will also be concessions with hot cocoa, coffee, and apple cider for visitors to enjoy while venturing into the displays. Admissions are free, but donations are always appreciated!

Snowman Wonderland – Seminole, OK

As tradition will have it, the Magnolia Park in Seminole comes together each year to put on Snowman Wonderland. Unlike other light display shows, no automobiles are allowed to drive through the lights. Instead, there will be a tram available to view the sights. Visitors are welcome to walk as well. Stop by on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evening to take part in activity nights at Snowman Wonderland!

During the holiday season, Johnstone Park in Bartlesville is known for its Christmas light show and family-friendly events. Visitors can enjoy music, a spectacular synchronized light tunnel, and various animated displays throughout the park.

Fantasy Land of Lights continues to grow each year with the help of generous public donations. These donations then go into repairing displays and the Club’s Foundation to help students in the Washington County area with educational scholarships. Twin Bridges will once again be hosting the Twin Bridges Park of Lights Christmas lights display located near Fairland, OK. This holiday event features a collection of over 40 brightly lit displays in the Grand Lake State Park that visitors can drive through and enjoy. As one of the best Christmas light displays around, nearly 50,000 people come to visit each year! In addition to the new light displays, there will also be carolers, free photos, and train rides available as visitors spend their time at the park.

Christmas in the Park – Elk City, OK

If you’re looking for some of the best spots to see Christmas lights, head on over to Elk City’s Ackley Park. The event, Christmas in the Park, will be illuminated with millions of lights this holiday season! There’s plenty of room to explore so be sure to bring the family out on Friday and Saturday nights to visit Santa’s gift shop, ride the Candy Cane Train, and go ‘round on the Centennial Carousel!

Visitors will also get the opportunity to tour the light displays on the Double Decker Bus or Trolley. Starting this year, make Christmas in the Park your family tradition!

Crystal Christmas – Woodward, OK

Located in Woodward, the Crystal Beach Park light show is one for the books. Opening night includes fireworks, singing, concessions, and a special countdown ceremony! With nearly two million lights and a performance by the community band, visitors can enjoy the lighted walking tours around the landscape. There will also be a holiday gift shop that’ll remain open nightly through the end of December.

Dress warmly and if you can, visit on Thursdays or Fridays for the park’s family fun nights!

Muskogee’s annual Garden of Lights, is an unforgettable experience filled with shimmering lights and animated displays. Visitors can drive through Honor Heights Park and view the 130 acres of light displays.

While the Azalea bushes are famous during the spring season, the winter months are even more beautiful as all the bushes are illuminated with colorful lights. Be sure to look out for lighted displays like deer, squirrels, and birds! 

Castle Christmas – Muskogee, OK

Explore the world’s largest collections of holiday inflatables at Castle Christmas located in Muskogee! There’s a winter wonderland that awaits you filled with over 1,000 light displays in various holiday seasons.
